Grabbed him by the throat, Ripped out his tongue
While his colleagues sit Bound and gagged in their own making
Their low grunts and muffled words Echo pleas of mercy
Through a hollow mind
Attached to a callused soul
Pursuing disastrous designs
I am here to present to you An ugly piece of truth
Your lives have been fantastic, Now its time you've been removed
Distasteful to say the least, Swine upon the throne
At last, I’ve been waiting for this moment
When I would have you all within my grasp, Where unfulfilled fantasies will manifest
As he peels away their fingernails, He starts to laugh
Then with a menacing display, He spoke aloud
Nothing short of the voice of god Can save you now
And the rest of you shall follow
Stainless fangs will lick
Crimson tears from your cheeks
One by one he dissects slowly
Such attention to detail, A prosperous future to jade
Terror emitting from his pores
Hysterical and lost Inside his fascinations
Are you not entertained?
Are those wounds suffocating your lungs?
As the last of your vile pack of rats, I will show you your true desolation
Come with me Into the lake of oblivion
Take a drink from this chalice of demise, You gluttonous slave
Praising your numbers
Gloating about the threads within your sheets
On your jewel encrusted magic carpet ride
You’re the finest cut of all the meats
But behold a true sight of greatness
Cloaked and cold in his ominous approach
Shadows gather and merge within his wake
Where the light of day will never shine again
Something's awry
Proceeding with the final steps Of his elaborate operation
He’s distracted by the faintest sound
A voice of some sort Or more of a whisper
He cannot locate the sound
In a frantic he turns the room to ruin
Collapsed under psychosis
Then the whisper demands with authority, “Rise!”
Behold! In your vacuous vessel you have lost the soul
That identifies with anything you have ever known
Only echoes in you now. The ultimate defect has been realized
Unleashed upon the world, Blocked is the way of your return
You’ve committed to this disaster And a grave path you’ve earned
You forfeit your life unto me And in my chains is where you’ll stay
As a slave to every horror known to man
Every night the same dream, Different faces but the same conclusion
I’m infused with lunacy And this I’ve become certain of
If I sit still enough I can still feel the echoes
Shaking what is left of this shell, As if the time froze
The voice again arose
You never will advance unless
You coalesce the void

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire

My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction
